As part of his working visit to Munich, Germany, the Minister Butale, met with Mr. Stefan HiPP, who leads the renowned HiPP family business, one of Europe's leading producers of organic baby food and infant nutrition products.

The engagement focused on advancing the company's planned investment in Botswana, including concluding key formalities and undertaking due diligence towards establishing a regional production and distribution hub.

The proposed investment is expected to enhance infant nutrition, create employment opportunities, promote local manufacturing, and position Botswana as a gateway to the Southern African market.
